Description

From my own collection this is an attractive floater specimen of gaylussite crystals replaced by calcite which are referred to as "barleycorn" in the classic literature. The two crystal are clearly twinned which is more rare than classic single crystals. It is complete and undamaged. Another scarce old material offered in our auctions and from a super Classic European Locality.

The initial label reads as to be from Thuringia, currently Saxony-Anhalt. Ex. Dr. Iván Blanco pseudomorph’s collection.
