Description

Aggregate of black prismatic crystals of gaudefroyite with very good lustre covered by lustrous black pseudoctahedral hausmannite. They grew on a mass of lustrous pale orange-red andradite microcrystals and white ettrengite crystals, which increase the colour contrast.

Bought in 1990, it is an Ex Johann Muizebelt (NL) specimen.
