Description

Deep orange coloured complete crystal of serandite that measures 1.6 cm, with brown incomplete crystals of manganoneptunite on a lustrous white analcime.

Acquired in 1978, the specimen is from the collection of Georges Vanacker*, a well-known Belgian systematic collector.

*Vanackerite (from Tsumeb) is named after him.
