Description

Rare locality specimen featuring a block matrix partially covered by of blue rosettes of azurite crystals. It comes with a label that reads Manila, Philippines. It is probably from the Dizon Mine, that was the biggest active mine when the specimen was shipped to Belgium in 1976.

Ex. Josep Verbist, that was the CEO of the CMB (Compagnie Maritime Belge) in that period. His position allowed him the access to rare locality of many ore materials worldwide.
