Description

Aggregates of lustrous twinned marcasite crystals, forming clusters of "cockscomb", on a matrix of schalenblende and white dolomite. Undamaged specimen from this Classic European locality, exploited for more than 150 years (1853-2006).

Found in the 1980’s (~1982-83), it is an Ex. Francisco Maello specimen.
