Description

Gemmy and highly lustrous crystals of dioptase to 4 mm of a good emerald green colour, scattered on a carpet of calcite crystals. They are well exposed and quite aerial, on a flattened specimen where the rear side is completely crystallized also by transparent calcite rhombohedra. Free of damage, it can be exposed 360°.

An aesthetic miniature from Willy Israel, a well-known Belgian collector of Tsumeb minerals who bought it in Tsumeb in 1978.
