Pseudomorph

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Copper Rose Mine, San Lorenzo, Grant County, New Mexico, United States of America
Class:
Crystal Group/Cluster
Size Range:
Thumbnail (1-3cm)
Size:
2.6 × 2.2 × 1 cm
Description

Old, floater rosette of copper pseudomorph after sharp tabular azurite from the Copper Rose Mine (New Mexico). On the contrary of “typical” material from this locality, where the specimens have been aggressively treated, I keep it original (uncleaned) to preserve the nice old patina. Good example of a Classic Locality.
