Description

From my own collection, this remarkable specimen features deep blue azurite crystals on a chalcocite matrix. The crystals are coated by a thin transparent layer of chalcedony. An aesthetic piece, in good condition but missing crystals are visible at the borders.

Azurite from Musonoi is quite rare, especially in this good condition, and this specimen is from the old finds in the 1950’s.

Ex. Achiel Moors; Ex. Dr. Iván Blanco.
