Description

A good red quartz (variety Jacinto de Compostela) crystal of 27 mm in size, with the prism faces covered by smaller quartz crystals forming an attractive aggregate. The lustre and colour saturation are superb!. Even if these kind of specimens can be found in many Triassic localities at the East of Spain, we specially point out here the locality, Orxeta, that has produced Jacinto de Compostela crystals in limited amounts.

A floater specimen, found in 2002 by Dorsan Van Poele.
