Description

A duo of blue coloured microcline crystals (variety amazonite) associated by a Manebach twin. The twinning plane form two evident re-entrant angles at both sides of the crystals. The twinning plane it is parallel to the b-axis, so it is not a Karlsbad twin, that is perpendicular lo the b-axis. Part of one edge and the back are contacted, with no broken or chipped crystals faces. Great!.

Found in 2004. Ex. Dr. Bob Janssens specimen, #1419.
