Description

A glass container of 55x18x18 mm in size with 6 pieces of “Ramsayite”, and historical old name for lorenzenite. The pieces contain also black prismatic crystals of aegirine interpenetrated with the lorenzenite crystals. It is accompanied with four original labels, the one from the E. Contarini (#2197) stapled to one of Friedrich Wilhelm Cassirer, that can be dated back to a short period of 1933-1937, according to Wilson, W.E (2018) “Mineralogical Record Biographical Archive”.
