Description

A typical alpine metamorphic rock composed of prismatic, lustrous blue transparent kyanite crystals and brown staurolite, in a white phyllosilicates-rich matrix. The kyanite crystals are quite transparent and reach 8 cm in length. Super Classic specimen from Pizzo Forno and of good size.
