Description

This fluorite was self-collected in 2009 at the Lhamda Mine, near Touroug, Er Rachidia, Morocco. It is a group with a dominant cube that is interpenetrated with another cube due to a {111} twin. The specimen shows an intense yellow-orange colour, uncommon in the locality because they are usually green with a light yellow rim. The faces show interesting etching patterns, some associated to natural fractures at the surface.

Ex. Iván Blanco collection.
