Description

A good size specimen of white and transparent crystallized calcite, covered by clusters of vivid cherry red and dark red proustite crystals with the best luster for the species. The crystals are unusually elongated and are covering both sides of the matrix. Labeled as from Bou Azzer, it is probably from the Bouismas Mine, in the Bou Azzer district.

Acquired in 2006, it is the specimen #1708 of Dr. Bob Janssens collection.
