Description

Highly lustrous crystals of calcite formed by the scalenohedron modifies by two rhomboheders, one acute and one obtuse. The brown golden colour is due to inclusions of chalcophanite, a rare Mn-Zn-bearing species. Beautiful!, it is mounted on a methacrylate socle.

Found by J. De Bruyckere between 1987-1990.
