Description

Old single crystal of pyrargyrite with good deep red colour. Some damage is present, but it is mostly composed of lustrous undamaged crystal faces. It is from St. Andreasberg in the Harz, a Classic among Classic European localities.

Acquired in 1975, it is the specimen #1879 of Dr. Bob Janssens (BE) collection.
