Description

A thin crust of lustrous dark green-blueish copper phosphate pseudomalachite on copper carbonate malachite. This is a small but classic and scarce old-material from the M’sesa Mine.

Found before 1960, the specimen is from the stock of Robert Verdoodt, who was working in the laboratories of Union Minière du Haut-Katanga and evacuated to Belgium in 1960.
