Description

An old specimen of azurite, with crystals up to 45 mm, that have been completely replaced by malachite. The rear side is completely covered with white calcite crystals. It is in good condition and it is a very good specimen for this Classic European locality (Rudabanya, Hungary). It was in the collection of J. Muizebelt and in my collection afterwards.
