Description

This is a very rare cobaltoan calcite with shattuckite and chrysocolla from the Tantara mine. These specimens where extracted in the 1940’s and 1950’s and are really scarce in collections. This blue-pink combinations were only surpassed by green-pink combinations combinations of dioptase and cobaltoan calcite.

Ex. Achiel Moors specimen, a Belgian colonist in the D.R.Congo from 1957 to 1972.
