Description

Aggregate of brownish black crystals of aeschynite-(Y) with resinous to waxy lustre on fracture surfaces from Miask, an uncommon locality.

Ex. Ennio Contarini (IT) #5428. The specimen has two original labels: a fully handwritten one and an older from “Les Fils D’Emile Deyrolle. According to Wilson, W.E (2017) “Mineralogical Record Biographical Archive”, this old label dates back before 1937.
