Description

Drusy group of complex honey-coloured crystals of sphalerite to 7 mm with very well defined edges and intense lustre. The transparency is good, and crystals are deep red or caramel brown if backlighted. It is crystallized all around with some complex white curved “saddle” dolomite crystals, spotted by tiny sphalerite crystals too.

Found in 1991 by Francisco Maello (ES). Troya mine is now inaccessible and was closed in 1993.
