Description

Navajún is a world-class locality for pyrite, but typical pyrites from Navajún are formed just by cube faces. However, Navajún has produced also minor amounts of pyrite crystals with other forms, such as the pentagonal dodecahedrons or combinations of cube and octahedron with different developments. The crystal we offer here is one of those, but interestly with an equant development of cube and octahedral faces, a true cuboctahedron. Free of damage.

Ex. Johann Muizebelt specimen.
