Description

Very lustrous pyrite crystal formed by an elongated octahedron, with the six corners modified by two incipient faces of a pentagonal dodecahedron. The crystals from Murgul are well known because they form pseudo-icosahedrons, and this specimen is an incipient pseudo-icosahedron (an octahedron + pentagonal dodecahedron) of 20 faces in total.
