Description

An attractive specimen of sceptre quartz, with an amethyst phantom core, 40mm in length, which is a good size for the locality. In addition, it is doubly ended, with the thin transparent quartz of the base right in the middle of the vertical, and a double-end displaced to a side. The transparency and lustre are great, it displays 360°, and the condition is very good, with just a negligible erosion at the top, visible only under magnification. Ex. Bob Janssens specimen #1351. Acquired in 1999.
