Description

A very rich specimen with hundreds of sharp brown correianevesite crystals with very good lustre, from the type locality. Some groups of well defined pink huréaulite crystals are irregularly spread on them, and the blocky matrix is made of blue-grey strengite and triphylite. It is from a find of April-May/2006, and was originally labelled as reddingite, but as shown in Chukanov et al, (2013), all the "reddingites" from the Cigana Mine are correianevesites, a new mineral since 2013.
