Description

Superbly crystallized specimen of lustrous octahedral crystal of acanthite forming parallel growths, with good native silver crystals from the Kongsberg district, a super classic European locality. It is an important specimen because acanthite has never been very common in the district. It is undamaged and shows perfectly all around 360 degrees. It is an old specimen, from the Sal Avella collection (US).
