Description

Cluster of fine polychrome prismatic tourmaline crystals from Paprok (Afghanistan) with the brightness and clarity of a top gem. The green body is beautifully highlighted by the pink termination, with a transitional water-clear zone between them. The well-formed pyramidal termination is undamaged and shows nice growth steps (last picture). In addition, it is doubly terminated with the base naturally broken and healed. The luster is top as well, really glassy, and both crystals are gemmy from top to bottom. Perfect!

Found in 1998. Ex. Gunther Zimmermann (DE).
