Description

Lustrous orange sphalerite crystals showing polysynthetic twinning. It is crystallized all around and in very good condition, associated with white Talc, typical for the locality. It is from a recent find (september 2015) when we were able to acquire a set of great new specimens directly from the miners, where sphalerite was of good quality. The specimen has been in my own collection and after enjoying it for a year it is now available. We would like to point out that no significant finds have been made in the last year because sphalerite is really rare at Aït Ahmane.
