Description

Floater aggregate of greenish rounded cuboctahedral crystals of chlorargyrite, variety bromian chlorargyrite or “embolite”, of a waxy resinous lustre. It has a coralloid structure, with numerous red crystals of rounded spessartine, which gives the specimen a very special touch.

Acquired in 14/04/1985 to Jo Tavernier, who obtained it in 23/10/1976 from Richard “Dick” Barstow (Barstowite). Ex Gustaaf collection #1295, with his handwritten label.
