Deep red trapezohedral almandine crystal with good definition of stepped and lustrous faces. It has a good size for the locality, which crystals rarely surpass 12 – 14 mm. It is a complete specimen, with a contact to other crystal at the rear. Found at the Kamiaba region, very remote locality near the border with Zambia. Uncommon locality in collections, that has never been abundant at all.
