Description

Blue John is the world famous massive variety of fluorite that is now very rare and commands high prices for the objects into which it is fashioned. Even rarer are Blue John specimens that show free crystals. This specimen comprises of typical deep purple crystals up to 3.0 cm on an edge (large for the locality).  An unusual and rare fluorite from a famous location.
