Description

A beautiful combination of two rare minerals, pickeringite and metavoltine. The specimen comes from the old Le Cetine Mine, near Rosia, Tuscany, Italy. There are numerous pickeringite tufts with some yellow metavoltine. I was fortunate to recently obtain a couple of specimens, of which this is the last, exhibiting this rare association of minerals infrequently offered for sale, especially in this quality.
