Description

'Native' carbon (graphite) is a mineral that I have only come across once before in the fifteen years I have specialised in collecting Mexican minerals. This is an anhedral crystalline specimen with a dark grey colour. When I have a squeaky hinge in the house I head for the minerals as a quick rub around the effected area with graphite (solid lubricant) solves the problem without any worry of oil dripping on the carpet.
