Little Deerpark Quarry, Glenarm, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
Size Range:
Cabinet (10-18 cm)
Size:
11 × 7 × 4 cm
Description

I have been collecting at the type locality for Gmelinite for more than 20 yrs and, although I have found many nice specimens, never exposed any of the special specimens that I knew to exist there (i.e. like a couple Harry Foy showed me). Recently my luck changed and as a result I will, over the next few weeks, be offering some of these along with a couple from my own collection that have been ousted by superior specimens from my new find. This specimen comprises of sharp, well formed crystals of the very best colour. Individual crystals are up to 0.6 cm across. A good specimens from the new find.
