Gyrolite is an uncommon mineral in Northern Ireland. This specimen has excellent balls of translucant crystals scattered between transparent, well terminated apophyllite crystals all resting on a bed of thomsonite. I'm down to my last few gyrolite specimens from this now closes to collecting locality. ‘Clear-out Minerals’ is having its biggest clear-out yet as the starting price for everything in this auction is just $3 including specimens up to large cabinet size, and a number of type localities. A great chance to combine postage and collect a good suite of zeolites and associated species from an area famed for its minerals.
