A sample of precious Opal in andesitic matrix from Vernon. Comes with a bill of Okanagan Opal Inc. dated back to June 1996.

Quoting Richard Gunter on mindat: "The porous andesite contains locallized pore-fillings of various sorts of Opal. The rarest is the Precious Opal. ... Green colours are the most common, some very metallic, with orange and red less common."
