Description

Cuboctahedral Pyrites and yellow Sphalerites in a Dolomite coated vug from a small scale Pb-Zn-occurence in an ancient petrified coral reef of middle Devonian age.

The find spot was only accessible during construction works in the industrial area of Wiesbaum in Oct. 2000. Almost unknown material, even here in Germany.
