Description

Fine example of this unique pseudomorph from the sulfur mines at Agrigento, Sicily. This specimen contains several well formed milky white casts after aragonite up to 3 cm, most of which are at least partially hollow, and are made up of many small sharp calcite crystals. These white pseudomorphs are giving a good contrast to the intense yellow sulphur crystals which are up to 2.5 cm.

This is an exceptional beautiful and large specimen from this historic mine.
