Description

We have decided to offer you an extremely rare specimen.                                                                                                                                          It is one of the largest (perhaps the largest that has been found to this day in the area of Dasoto) and impressive amethyst sceptre with smoky quartz.
Because of its multiple crystallization, aesthetics and size this particular specimen is one that could be found exhibited in a museum. It consists of multiple amethyst sceptres with smoky quartz Alpine type morion. On quite a few of the amethyst crystals we can observe the development of onion structures.
Numerous amethyst crystals are found on this exquisite specimen with a number of them forming amethyst sceptres with smoky quartz morion – six of which are larger than the others. You can also admire lots of double ended amethyst crystals.
The specimen hasn’t been damaged in any way. We would like you to observe the tip of the amethyst of the left sceptre on the left-hand side – notice that not only is there no damage whatsoever on the tip but also how it comes into contact with its matrix rock and the visibility of the onion structure development.  While the majority of the amethyst crystals that this specimen is composed of measure between 1 and 5 centimetres the spectres reach up to 5,5 centimetres.
In the photos we have tried to illustrate in the best possible way what we have described. A magnificent specimen from a region in Greece that after a lot of years has brought to light a specimen with such prestige.
