This is an excellent sample for druzy Schalenblende (Sphalerite/Wurtzite) from the classic Schmalgraf Mine, La Calamine, Belgium, which is famous for such very special specimens.

This wonderful sample, polished on one side and natural on the other, shows a good luster and an amazing, unusual druzy structure. Rarely available on the mineral market in this outstanding quality!

Mined in the early 19th century, acquired from a local collector.
