Description

Interesting ore sample from Johanngeorgenstadt: a microcrystalline quartz matrix (Hornstein) hosts galena and proustite, which are concentrated in bands/layers of the vein. With nice old label stating that the specimen comes from the Eleonora Erbstollen, Kurz Glück Spat vein. 19th century specimen, from an old german collection.
