Description

A specimen from a quite recent find:

Banded sphalerite variation schalenblende covered by lustrous brass-yellowish and lustrous marcasite crystals. A typical specimen for the devonian/carboniferous MVT-like lead-zinc deposits of Eastern Belgium/Aachen-Stolberg district. The mineralization is of epigenetic vein type in carbonate host rocks.
