Description

Nothing spectacular, not even rare: a small example of flintstone found at the shore of Helgoland in 1907. The interesting thing is the old label which i first assigned to F.E. Schwerd, Oberpostrat in the town of Koblenz, GER, around the turn of the 19th/20th century. His labels are not easy to assign and rare. But according to my research Schwerd died in 1905 so the label must be from someone in his circle, as he donated a lot to the Nat. wiss. Verein Coblenz, where all the specimens i received are from. A riddle ....
