Description

From the Jacques Evlard collection comes this interesting combo of tan whiteish calcite crystals on a shard of greyish to slight purplish fluorite. The calcite shows a mushroom-like habit which is caused by the growth of stacked very flat rhombohedrons. The specimen which was found at the 240 level at Cambokeels shows nice blue fluorescence of the fluorite and a weak pinkish fluorescence of the calcite under LW UV.
