Description

A quite large calcite twin (!) from the Quincy mine, classic stuff, with a lot of metallic copper included rendering the whiteish calcite reddish in parts. Old time specimen, very good condition though there is a cleavage at one side of the twin and a few small nicks and mousebites. Despite of this a very good classic specimen of these sought after copper included calcites even more as it is a quite big twinned crystal. This specimen comes out of the special calcite collection of german collector Ingo Löffler who built up a great selection of calcites worldwide during the last decades including more rare localities. Ingo is changing his collection focus so you now have the opportunity to get some nice stuff. Comes with his label.
