Description

Really nice classic mexican specimen: Tan beige/whiteish twinned rhombohedrons of calcite grown over a first generation of reddish brown scalenohedrons, mostly referred to as Mariposa Calcite. Really good size and nice growth phantoms. This specimen comes out of the special calcite collection of german collector Ingo Löffler who built up a great selection of calcites worldwide during the last decades including more rare localities. Ingo is changing his collection focus so you now have the opportunity to get some nice stuff. Comes with his label, very good condition!
