Description

This is a good example of the sought after schalenblende specimens of the Aachen-Kelmis-Stolberg ore district. One side polished specimen consisting of banded sphalerite with mostly bright slight yellowish-brownish colours, these were the rarer ones, most specimens were dark when cut and polished. Skeletal galena included - this is often referred to as "Strickbleiglanz" although this specimen lacks the geometric figures of the typical Strickbleiglanz specimens.
