Description

Got this sample these days in a lot with some other Black Forest material: labeled to be bismutite (with pers. comm. psm after wittichenite). Usually the ID of that source is quite good but i did not analyze the specimen. Greenish to yellowish earthy masses with the form of the former sulfide. Interesting specimen from a quarry that has become famous for a local bismuth mineralization in the 1970s.
