Description

Old timer from Montecatini Val di Cecina near Volterra in Tuscany: Natrolite needles with some calcite on host rock matrix which looks like an altered basaltic rock (serpentinization). Comes with a nice pen and ink label, the name of the collector is unknown to me, ex Krantz stock.

Note that natrolite is mentioned as Savite, an old synonym. Probably from the old Montecatini copper mine.
