Description

Interesting and showy specimen from a classic locality: a matrix of tarnished marcasite(?) crystals pseudomorph after galena octahedrons forming a kind of a cast host a seemingly naturally cleaved calcite crystal which was impregnated by copper bearing solutions leading to the formation of secondary copper mineral giving the green colour. First of this kind a have seen until now.
